In his very informative eBook called The Truth About Abs programme, Mike Geary talks a lot about the right way to exercise and the wrong way to exercise. It might surprise you to find out that some of the so-called “best” ways to exercise are not really the way to achieve the maximum potential you have for having the ripped abs you are looking for. For example:

The ‘abs specific’ exercises that you see do not really work to lose weight and stimulate muscle mass like they say. They will not hurt you; just do not spend an awful lot of time on them.

Slow, low intensive cardio workouts just do not burn enough fat to uncover the abs you already have. To get the eye-popping six-pack abs that you are looking for you need to get to the point where you are at 10% body fat. That is accomplished with high intensity cardiovascular exercises such as sprinting, jumping rope, or stair climbing.

The weight lifting should be of a nature that it is building muscle mass, not just moving it around.
